May – Mountain Rescue Awareness Day
A national event across all the mountain rescue teams, started in 2010. The year we will be organising activites at Cannon Hall Farm at Cawthorne, Barnsley with the aim of promoting awareness of the work done by mountain rescue.

June – Honley Show
We are doing a demonstration involving our search and rescue dogs and a totally new public demomntration .

June – Penistone Lord Mayors Parade
We put one of our vehicles in with the floats and parade through the streets of Penistone. Team members will be alongside with buckets collecting for the Team.
June – Crow Edge Gala
We have a stand at the Gala and support the event with first aid assistance if needed.
October – Grin n Bear It (Walk/Run)
Our major fundraising event of the year. We have organised the event for some years now and this year we are hoping will be our biggest event to date. Starting and finishing from Crow Edge Community Centre, there are rural routes and wild moor routes. A good day out for all the family and abilities
