COVID-19

Please read below the latest information released by Mountain Rescue England and Wales. With the current situation, our open spaces are being overwhelmed by people going out to get fresh air which is having a huge impact on people being able to safely social distance themselves, lot’s are showing plane disregard for the guidelines set out by the government putting lives at risk.
Mountain Rescue are urging anyone that does feel the need to head for the outdoors, to stay well within their capabilities, don’t take any unnecessary risks, stay local and practice your social distancing, 2m apart! Every single one of us needs to do our bit to help stop the spread of Covid-19 and help save as many lives as possible.
If you are in a situation where you need to call Mountain Rescue, you MUST inform the call handler if you are suffering any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been in contact with anyone that is.
Please think about others, their families and their lives, before you head out, think, do I really need to do this!
Take care and stay safe. #StopTheSpread
