Today we had team members at several sites throughout the
area promting the MREW awareness day. One of these was at Grenoside Woods where
we attend a large number of Mountain Bile Injuries. Sure enough, another one
occurred as we were there, so our team members were quickly on scene and dealt
with the casualty who had sustained neck and arm injuries. He was placed in a
stretcher and transported to the air ambulance which had been called in due to
heavy demand for land ambulances.
This incident involved 14 team members, and 23.8 man hours of effort. Elapsed time 1.7 hours.
