The recent hand-over of the RAF Search and Rescue service to a civilian operator, and the consequent change of aircraft has meant that the whole team has had to undergo basic familiarization training so we can work with the new Sikorsky S92 helicopters. The above photograph was taken on a recent training day held at Edale MRT’s base in Hope.
The new rescue service is now fully operational, and we look forward to working with the new aircrews in the coming weeks.
