Incident 2026-28: Broken ankle at night, Herringthorpe

Yorkshire Ambulance Service called us at 11:30pm to a person who had slipped at the edge of a wood near Herringthorpe and broken an ankle. The crew splinted the leg and we carried the casualty to the ambulance.

Incident 2026-24: Two injured mountain bikers, Wharncliffe Woods

A mountain biker fell in Wharncliffe Woods. We picked the rider up in our team vehicle and took them to the top car park, where a friend drove them to hospital. A second injured rider arrived in the car park as we were leaving, and we assessed them and sent them to hospital too.
