The team was called out on the 18th Sept to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Service with an injured horse rider in woodland at North Anston.
A 61-year-old female casualty had taken a nasty fall landing awkwardly briefly losing consciousness. The lady was complaining of pain in her lower back and hip area, also pain in her shoulder bone.
The casualty was placed into a vacuum mattress while ambulance crew applied a pelvic binder, the lady was then immobilized and transferred onto a mountain rescue stretcher for a short carry to the road head and the waiting ambulance.
