The team was called out to assist our neighbours Edale Mountain Rescue Team on Sun 27th Dec with an injured walker at Dale Dyke Reservoir.
A lady whilst out walking slipped on very muddy ground sustaining an injury to her ankle and was unable to weight bear. She was given pain relief on-scene and a splint applied by Edale team members and then packaged ready for a very muddy stretcher carry back to the road head. She would then be met by Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust for onward travel to hospital.
