A lady fell on the banks of More Hall Reservoir injuring her shoulder. She was treated on scene by our team members and carried off on the stretcher to the Ambulance.

2021-13: DPOL 822 Two females lost on Sliddens Moss (Multi-Team)
Two girls called 999 after becoming lost on Sliddens Moss in very windy weather. They were located using Phone Find and the team set out to bring them to safety. They reported seeing two other females who also said they were lost but became separated from this pair who made their own way off the hill. Glossop MRT were called to assist when it was thought that one of them may need carrying off, but she managed to make it back on aided by our team members.

We were altered by YAS for a female who had fallen on a track near woods in Sheffield injuring her wrist. However, the ambulance crew managed to reach her ok, and we were stood down minutes later.

A lady jumped in the lake whilst trying to rescue her dog. She was pulled out and treated on scene by the ambulance crew so we were stood down.

A 50YOM fell on a track near Damflask Reservoir sustaining head injuries. We responded to the call but the Ambulance crew managed to reach the site unaided and we were stood down on route

A walker slipped on a muddy path to the west of Blackburn Meadows Nature Reserve. The team responded to the site but the casualty was moved by others to the Meadowhall centre. We moved there also and gave him medical attention on scene and assessed him fit to self transport to hospital.

Just after leaving the previous incident, we were contacted by YAS to go to a Horse Rider who had been thrown from her horse in a field landing on her head, sustaining injuries to Neck, Back, Shoulder and Ribs. Because of the potential seriousness of the injuries she was evacuated by air ambulance. Happily we found out later that the only serous injury was a broken collar bone.

We were called to a 67 YOF who had fallen on a muddy footpath sustaining ankle injuries. The team treated her on scene and stretchered her off to the ambulance

A lady slipped on a muddy path not far from her home injuring her lower leg. We treated her on scene and stretchered her off to the ambulance.

The team were asked to provide a water team to help rescue residents from the threat of flooded homes in Bakewell. They were on scene for 6 hours but fortunately the water levels remained below those forecast.

We were called to help a mountain biker who had become lost in the dark near Black Hill. We located him using phone find, and warmed him up before walking him back to the road.
