We were called at 10pm by South Yorkshire Police to assist
them in a search for a missing 84YOM who was last seen in Bessecar. Together
with Edale MRT , YALSAR and MRSDE Search dogs, we searched the area adjacent to
Potteric Carr Nature Reserve but nothing was found. The missing person was found
the next day deceased, outside the search area. Our thoughts are with his family
at this difficult time.
This incident involved 9 team members, and 55.8 man hours of effort. Elapsed time 6.2 hours.
